Terms of Service

Last updated: October 2026

Baby Registry ("we", "the Service") lets a family create a private baby registry, memory journal, and family "village" social space, reachable only by a secret link or their own domain.

1. What you're agreeing to

By creating an account or a registry, you agree to these terms. If you're a guest using someone else's registry (claiming a gift, leaving a comment, RSVPing), your use of that registry is also covered by these terms even though you never created an account.

2. Your account and your registry

3. Guests & the family "village"

Anyone with your registry's secret link can view it and, depending on the page, take lightweight actions (claiming a gift, RSVPing, liking or commenting on a memory) without creating a full account. Treat your secret link the way you'd treat a house key — anyone who has it can act as a guest on your registry. You can moderate (hide) any guest comment at any time from your admin console.

4. Subscriptions & billing

Paid plans renew automatically (monthly or annually) until you cancel from your billing page, which also opens Stripe's own billing portal. Cancelling stops future renewals; your registry then enters read-only "Memory Vault" mode — see below — rather than being deleted. See the Refund Policy for money-back terms.

5. If you stop paying (the "never delete" promise)

If a trial ends or a payment fails and isn't resolved, your registry becomes read-only: guests can still view everything, you can still export everything, but new posts/uploads are paused until you choose a plan again. We do not delete your family's memories for non-payment. Only an explicit account-deletion request (see the Privacy Policy) removes data.

6. Acceptable use

No harassment, no illegal content, no attempting to access another family's registry without their secret link, no automated scraping or abuse of the API, no reselling access to the Service.

7. Service "as is"

We work hard to keep the Service reliable (see our backup and monitoring practices), but it's provided as-is without warranty of uninterrupted availability. Export your data periodically regardless — it's one click, always available, on every plan.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted with a new "last updated" date. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
